What is Smart Guide?

Smart Guide is an electronic program guide that is available anytime you watch an “over-the-air” movie or TV show on the Antenna TV input. When launched, it fills the bottom portion of the screen with a grid listing your available channels and the programs airing on each channel.

Move up and down the grid to different channels, or left and right to browse programs. Upcoming programs can be viewed 14 days in advance, and programs that already aired can be browsed 7 days in the past. As you highlight each program, more information appears on the top portion of the screen that may include a detailed description, TV rating, closed captioning, and More Ways to Watch indicator.

  • Notes:

    • Smart Guide is only available in the United States.
    • You can only access Smart Guide if you are connected to your network and the internet. When there is no connection, you will only be able to access the channel list.
    • Smart Guide is not available for your cable TV subscription. This includes the connection from a set-top box, or a direct connection to the Antenna TV input.
