To enjoy the full 4K Ultra HD experience,,
- Your Roku Premiere or Premiere+ must be connected to a compatible 4K Ultra HD TV
- Your 4K TV must have a HDCP 2.2 HDMI port
- You must be viewing a 4K Ultra HD stream from one of Roku’s Streaming Channels.
HDCP 2.2 is the copy protection technology that the movie and television studios have agreed upon, and require, in order to allow Netflix, Amazon and other streaming services to deliver 4K Ultra HD content.
- You may need to refer to your TV’s user manual, as some manufacturers limit 4K Ultra HD streaming to certain HDMI inputs.
If you have met all of the above requirements and are still having issues viewing 4K content on your Roku Premiere or Premiere+, please contact Roku Support.
