How to create a list of favorite channels for the Antenna TV input on your Roku TV™

Background

Roku TVs are equipped with an ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee) tuner that provides access to digital "over-the-air" broadcast television through an antenna. Frequently watched channels can be marked as favorites and accessed easily.

If you need help receiving digital broadcast channels, review the steps for setting up the Antenna TV input on your Roku TV.

What is the benefit of making a favorite channels list?

While watching a channel on the Antenna TV input, you can mark your favorite channels, and then switch from one favorite to another, bypassing all other channels. When you want to view other channels, you can easily switch from favorites back to all channels.

  • Note: If there are channels in your channel list that you do not want to see, you can hide them by going to Settings > TV input > Antenna TV > Edit channels.

How do I add a favorite channel to the list?

You can mark any channel as a favorite when watching the Antenna TV input.

  1. Press the left button on the directional pad on your Roku TV remote to display the channel list. The directional pad is plus-shaped and is in the center of the remote.

  2. Scroll up or down to highlight a channel that you want to make a favorite.
  3. Press the asterisk button on your Roku TV remote. At this point, you will see two options:

    • • Add to favorites
      • Back

  4. With Add to favorites highlighted, press OK on your Roku TV remote. A heart symbol appears adjacent to the channel to indicate that it is now a favorite.
  5. Repeat these steps to add more favorite channels.
